Programs for Everyone

At Norwood Public LIbrary, we are proud to offer various programs throughout the year that are open to our patrons of all ages. Our offerings change frequently, so please check often.

Norwood Public Library is proud to announce two new programs this fall

 

Starting on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 3:30-4:30pm we will be 
hosting the program Origami for Beginners for children in 3rd grade 
and higher. The program will review step-by-step instructions along 
with hands on guidance on how to create the traditional Japanese 
art of paper folding. Registration is required due to limited seating 
so please stop by and sign up.

 

Starting Thursday, November 14th, 2013 and continuing every 
2nd Thursday of the month, we will be hosting the program 
Story Time with Katie. A nine year old library patron will be 
sharing her love for reading with children ages 5-6 from 3:15-3:45. 
There is a limit of 5 children and the story time includes Katie 
reading a book, and coordinating a craft and a snack. 
Don’t miss out on the fun…the first to register gets the spot!!

Let’s Read Together – K-1st Graders
On Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 3:15 – 4:00pm, Kindergarteners and 1st Graders are welcome to join us to read Annie and Snowball and the Thankful Friends by Cynthia Rylant & Thanksgiving Day by Anne Rockwell

 Storytime for 3-5 Year Olds
Please join us on November 6 & 13, 2013 from 2-3pm, 3-5 year old children are invited to join us for our story time, crafts and snacks geared especially for our little patrons.

Junior BookTalk – 4-5th Graders
On Monday, November 18, 2013
from 3:15 – 4:30pm, 4th & 5th Graders are welcome to join our Junior Booktalk when we will be discussing The Boy on the Porch
